The special affinities of this drug are the mucous membrane of stomach, bowels, and air-passages; bones and fibrous tissue. Kidneys, heart, and liver are also affected. Incipient parenchymatous; nephritis. Nephritis with gastric disturbances. Cirrhosis of liver. Anaemia and absence of fever are characteristic. General weakness bordering on paralysis. It is especially indicated for fleshy, fat, light complexioned persons subject to catarrhs or with syphilitic or scrofulous history. Symptoms are worse in the morning; Pains migrate quickly, rheumatic and gastric symptoms alternate. More adapted to subacute rather than the violent acute stage. Mucous membranes everywhere are affected. Catarrh of pharynx, larynx, bronchi and nose, and a Tough, stringy, viscid secretion is produced, which condition is a very strong guiding symptom for this drug. Perforation of the septum. Стул. Понос со стулом, похожий на желе, хуже утром. Стул дизентерийно-подобный, темный, пенистый, кровянистый, с тенезмами.
Менструации — преждевременные, с головокружениями, тошнотой и головной болью. Перепончатая дисменноррея.
Бели желтые, тягучие, клейкие, как желе.

Главные показания

ХРОНИЧЕСКИЙ НАСМОРК, при котором никакое средство с ним не сравнится: давящая боль у корня носа; образование корок.
При ГИПЕРТРОФИЧЕСКОМ ВОСПАЛЕНИИ НОСА кали бихромикум наиболее подходящее и самое верное средство для гипертрофированных тканей, которое через несколько недель приводит к ощущению откупоривания носа; дышать носом становится легче; в то же время выделение делается менее вязким и лучше отходит при сморкании.
ХРОНИЧЕСКИЙ БРОНХИТ. Здесь он показан главным образом обильным отхаркиванием очень тягучей слизи. Одышка еще более подтверждает применение кали бихромикум, так же, как и кашель с щекотанием в гортани.
АСТМА. — Ожесточение после полуночи и улучшение сидя и нагнувшись вперед, с отхаркиванием тягучей слизи.
КАШЕЛЬ. — (При острых заболеваниях легких), влажный, спазматический, со свистом и хрипом, вызываемый покалыванием и прилипанием слизи в гортани, глотке и бронхах. Отхаркивание и выделение мокроты очень затруднительно; прозрачная и очень вязкая, желтоватая мокрота иногда отходит с таким трудом, что кашель кончается рвотой.
ДИСПЕПСИЯ, вследствие катара желудка, чаще всего у любителей пива. Вследствие недостатка желудочного сока, развивается настоящий катар желудка, о чем свидетельствует состояние языка, на красной поверхности которого образуется желтоватый грязный налет с отпечатками зубов. Склонность к ссадинам и язвам слизистой оболочки, наконец, изменение подслизистого слоя, — симптомы, указывающие на кали бихромикум.
ЯЗВА ЖЕЛУДКА. Кали бихромикум прекрасное средство при рвоте пищей, слизистой и желчной.
При ЯЗВЕ КИШЕЧНИКА, в хронических случаях, он действует так же, как меркуриус коррозивус.
ГОЛОВНАЯ БОЛЬ в связи с диспепсией, рефлексом которой она и является. Боль обыкновенно над бровями; она может возвращаться периодически, но в особенности связана с раздражением желудка.
МИГРЕНЬ СО СЛЕПОТОЙ. Расстройства зрения, появляющиеся перед головной болью и исчезающие, когда она достигает высшей степени своего развития. Затем очень интенсивная боль сосредоточивается в небольшом ограниченном участке.
ЗАБОЛЕВАНИЯ ПЕЧЕНИ, при которых по действию он очень похож на меркуриус.
СИФИЛИС. Кали бихромикум особенно показан в позднем периоде, после лечения ртутью и иодом. Изъявления глотки, пустулезные эктимы, периоститы и даже ириты излечиваются этим средством.
БОЛЕЗНИ ГЛАЗ. Золотушная офтальмия, специфический или ревматический ирит, ревматизм склеры. Характерно: отсутствие или незначительная воспалительная краснота; несоразмерное отсутствие светобоязни. Лучшее средство при дисцеметите.
